Lim Chow Kiat
Chairman, WMI | CEO, GIC
Lim Chow Kiat was appointed Chief Executive Officer in January 2017. He chairs the Group Executive Committee, which governs and reviews all key investment, risk, and business decisions. He is overall responsible for the performance of GIC and oversees the development and execution of long-term strategies.
Mr Lim was previously Group Chief Investment Officer of GIC and Deputy Group President. He joined GIC as a portfolio manager upon graduation in 1993 and rose to head the Fixed Income, Currency & Commodities department. He was President, Europe in 2009, overseeing investments and relationships in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East before his appointment as President of GIC Asset Management in 2011.
Mr Lim is the Chairman of the Wealth Management Institute and serves on the board of National Research Foundation. He is a member of Agence France Trésor’s Strategic Committee and the World Economic Forum International Business Council, a FCLTGlobal Strategic Advisor, as well as a former trustee of Nanyang Technological University, and former board member of Enterprise Singapore.
Mr Lim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy (First Class Honours) from Nanyang Technological University.

Dr Bruno Roche
Founder
Economics of Mutuality
Bruno Roche is a pioneering figure in the realm of impact economy and management innovation, best known for founding the Economics of Mutuality. Unlike traditional economic and social systems, which operate on the premise of creating value first (capitalism) before sharing it (socialism), this breakthrough management innovation and new school of thought flips the process. It integrates from the outset the sharing of benefits (mutuality) directly into the value-creation process. The result? Enhanced value for all stakeholders, including the environment, and a fairer distribution of wealth (mutualism).
He is the former Chief Economist at Mars Incorporated, where he led the development of the Economics of Mutuality for 15 years, btween the mid 2000’s and 2020, in close collaboration with Oxford Saïd Business School before establishing it as a non-profit platform in 2020 – with the support of Mars Incorporated.
He co-founded Centers for the Economics of Mutuality with Oxford Saïd Business School (UK), CEIBS (Shanghai, China), and Erasmus University in Rotterdam (Rotterdam School of Management, NL).
In 2024, he launched ONE Society, a global non-profit platform. This initiative pushes the Economics of Mutuality beyond business, driving toward "a just society and mutual prosperity." By reforming management education, reshaping policymaking, and applying this paradigm to cities, it aims to create a lasting, transformative impact.
He co-edited the Oxford University Press book "Putting Purpose into Practice: the Economics of Mutuality" and co-authored the book "Completing Capitalism – Heal Business to Heal the World." Both books have been translated into Chinese.
He’s a Senior Fellow at the Rotterdam School of Management (NL),
He is a Senior Fellow at the Wharton School’s ESG Initiative and a participant in the Nazarian Social Innovator Series. Additionally, he holds a Senior Fellowship at the Rotterdam School of Management (Netherlands) and serves as a Senior Advisor to Boston Consulting Group (BCG). He is also a member of the S&P Global Sustainable Finance Scientific Council, a founding board member of the China Impact Investment Network, an expert advisor to the World Economic Forum, and a board member of the UN Global Compact’s Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME).
His academic education and doctoral research followed a path in applied mathematics with specializations in international economics, international finance, and management sciences.

Cheryl Chen
President
S&P Global Foundation
Cheryl Chen is the President of S&P Global Foundation and leads the grantmaking efforts of the S&P Global Foundation in its key focus areas in developing skills in tech and data and creating environmental resilience.
Before this role, she was Director of Global ESG Strategy and Engagement at S&P Global and oversees the work around corporate ESG disclosure, practices and performance. She joined the company as the Director of Corporate Responsibility for Asia Pacific in 2018 to scale S&P Global Foundation grant programs, employee volunteerism and sustainability practices in the region.
She started her career as a management associate in Citi Singapore and was Vice President, Head of Corporate Citizenship for Citi Singapore before joining S&P Global. She has more than fifteen years of experience in the private sector with a focus on how corporate citizenship and cross-sector partnerships can contribute towards sustainable development.
She serves as a District Councilor with the South East Community Development Council since 2014 and is a management committee member of the Lien Centre for Social Innovation. She is also a Council Member with the Singapore Institute of International Affairs, an independent think-tank in Singapore.
Cheryl graduated with a Double Degree in Bachelor of Science (Economics) and Bachelor of Business Management (Major in Finance) from Singapore Management University (SMU) and obtained a Master of Social Science at SMU in 2015.

Darren Teo

Darren started his career in Super Group in 2006. He was last appointed as Executive Director of Super Group Ltd, overseeing the Group's corporate strategy, finance and commercial activities. In 2017, he led the strategic sale of Super Group to the world's second largest coffee company, Jacobs Dowe Egberts.
Darren is now the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Apricot Capital. Apricot Capital is a single family office with business interest in real estate, consumerism, education, offshore marine, sports and entertainment. His role includes evaluating investment proposals, executing strategic investment opportunities, implementing strategic asset allocation and managing its investment portfolio companies. He plays an active strategic role in his portfolio companies and sits on the board of several companies including Fundamental Foods, Marco Polo Marine, Geniebook, etc.
Darren also oversees Apricot Capital Foundation which focuses on uplifting the community through education. With a personal life ethos of "Empower to fulfil one's fullest potential", he believes that capital is the catalyst for change and hopes to allocate resources to create opportunities to uplift more people.
Darren graduated with Bachelor of Social Sciences in Economics from National University of Singapore in 2006.

Desmond Teo
Asia-Pacific Family Enterprise Leader | Asia-Pacific Private Deputy Leader | ASEAN and Asia-Pacific Private Tax Leader, Ernst & Young
Desmond is EY Asia-Pacific Family Enterprise Leader and a partner at Ernst & Young Solutions LLP focusing on business tax advisory and private clients.
As one of the pioneering tax advisors for funds and family offices in Singapore, he has extensive experience helping clients with end-to-end solutions for their business structures and operations, ranging from business setup and acquisition to debt or capital restructuring, tax incentives, tax compliance, and exit planning.
He works closely with leading private banks to help their clients navigate through the interconnected requirements of corporate tax, personal tax, FATCA/CRS and operational tax.
Desmond is a regular speaker at conferences around the region. He contributes regularly to industry publications, and his insights are sought by the Singapore authorities and major newspapers.
Desmond graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy (Hons). He is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, and an Accredited Tax Advisor of Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals Limited.

Dr Edward Chen, 陈翀

Dr. Edward CHEN was born in Harbin in November 1978. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the Department of Chemistry, Tsinghua University; a Master’s Degree of Science in Biological Sciences from Royal Holloway and Bedford New College, University of London; an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) Degree from Tsinghua University, and a Doctor’s Degree of Engineering from Tsinghua.
Since December 2016, Dr. Chen has been serving as a Non-Executive Director on the Country Garden's Board of Directors. Since September 2018, he has been the Chairman of the Guoqiang Public Welfare Foundation, which has donated more than 10.5 billion RMB, focusing on the fields of education, culture and so on.
Dr. Chen served as a Standing Committee Member of the All-China Youth Federation, Vice President of the Guangdong Federation of Industry and Commerce, Vice President of the China Charity Alliance, Vice President of the China Youth Volunteers Association, and Vice President of the International Confucian Association.

Ethan Park
Managing Director
Investment (Healthcare & Life Sciences - EMEA & SEA), Temasek
Ethan Jung Ryun Park is a Managing Director at Temasek, a global investment firm headquartered in Singapore. Ethan is based in Singapore and leads the firm’s healthcare & life sciences investment activities in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and Southeast Asia (SEA). Previously, he worked at SK Corporation in Seoul, Korea.
Ethan holds a B.A. from Tufts University, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and graduated magna cum laude, and an M.S. from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He has also received an international diploma from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po).
Ethan currently serves on the boards of several healthcare and life sciences companies.

Prof Gao Hao

Research Center, PBC School of Finance, Tsinghua University
Gao Hao (Tony) is the Director of Research Center for Global Family Business and an Associate Director of Research Center for Green Finance at Tsinghua University PBC School of Finance. He is the faculty chair of Global Family Business Program, Family Trusts Program, Philanthropy Leadership Program, and Family Wealth Management Program, as well as the chief expert of Family Office Research Initiative. He created the first Private Banking Master-degree course in China. He is currently a Visiting Professor and Temasek Fellow at Wealth Management Institute (WMI).

Dr Jolene Ooi

Jolene is a Partner at EDBI, where she leads strategic investments in biotechnology and healthcare companies developing next-generation therapeutic modalities and precision medicines. Her portfolio includes innovative firms such as Callio Therapeutics, ElevateBio, Nuevocor, Nuvation Bio, Engine Biosciences, Hummingbird Bioscience, and MiRXES.
Prior to joining EDBI, Jolene was a postdoctoral fellow at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), where she led efforts to generate a comprehensive stem cell repository to study Huntington Disease using cutting-edge gene editing and cell culture techniques.
Jolene holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Life Sciences from National University of Singapore, and a PhD in Molecular Biology from the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, University of Cambridge.

Ken Lee

Ken Lee has over 30 years of experience in global markets and investment research. In 2016, Ken founded Belleview Research in Singapore together with his partner Alvin Wong, specializing in analyzing mega trends and their investment implications.
Before Belleview, Ken was Head of Asia for 13D Research, spearheading its Asia businesses for 6 years. Prior to that, he spent 14 years in Goldman Sachs on its sales and trading division, where he was appointed Managing Director in 2003 and Head of the Corporate Sales Group for Asia ex-Japan. He began his career at Sumitomo Bank Capital Markets in 1992.
Ken is a regular speaker in corporate town halls, forums and conferences held by organizers such as Harvard Business School Association, Australian Davos Connection, and the Asian Bankers Association.
Ken holds a BBA in Finance from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has also completed executive programs at Singularity University and MIT Professional Education.

Koh Boon Hwee

Koh Boon Hwee is the Chairman of Singapore Exchange Group, a leading and trusted international multi-asset exchange, operating equity, fixed income, currency and commodity markets to the highest regulatory standards. He is also the Founder & Chairman of Sunningdale Tech Ltd, a leading global manufacturer of precision-engineered plastic components. Headquartered in Singapore, the Group operates in 9 countries, producing mission-critical components for multinational corporations in automotive, consumer and medical industries. He is also the Chairman of the NYSE listed Agilent Technologies, Inc, Altara Ventures Pte Ltd, Rippledot Capital Advisers Pte Ltd and the Securities Industry Council and is also a Board Member of GIC Pte Ltd.
He started his career in 1977 at Hewlett Packard and rose to become its Managing Director in Singapore from 1985-1990. From 1991-2000, he was Executive Chairman of the Wuthelam Group.
Boon Hwee was also the Chairman of the Singapore Telecom Group (SingTel) and its predecessor organisations from 1986-2001, Chairman of Singapore Airlines Limited from 2001-2005, Chairman of DBS Bank from 2006-2010 and served on the Board of Temasek Holdings Pte Ltd from 1996-2010. He was Chairman of AAC Technologies Holdings Inc from 2004-2020.
He was also the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and its predecessor Council of the Nanyang Technological University(NTU) from 1993 until his retirement in March 2021. He was a Director of the Hewlett Foundation in the United States from September 2007 until his retirement in March 2022, and Chairman of the Investment Committee overseeing the Endowment’s investment from July 2015 until his retirement.
He received his Bachelor’s Degree (First Class Honors) in Mechanical Engineering from the Imperial College of Science and Technology, University of London, and his MBA (Distinction) from The Harvard Business School. He also received honorary doctorates from Imperial College London in 2014 and from NTU in 2021.

Lisa Cai

Lisa is Portfolio Manager at Pivotal Life Sciences and Director at Group CEO Office, Nan Fung Group. Prior to joining Pivotal Life Sciences, Lisa was a senior research analyst at NF Trinity, Nan Fung Group’s family office investment arm, where she was responsible for the fund’s investments in the global healthcare sector. Prior to NF Trinity, Lisa was a senior analyst at Agamemnon Capital, a global event–driven hedge fund, where she focused on the healthcare sector, and also an Assistant Vice President at SAFE, the Chinese sovereign wealth fund, managing its global healthcare equities holdings. She started her career in private equity with Morgan Stanley. Lisa has served as Board Observer at Navitor Pharmaceuticals and SomaLogic. Lisa earned her MBA from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania, and her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees from University of California, Berkeley.

Dr Maren Schweizer

Dr. Maren Schweizer is the 6th-generation Founding-CEO of Schweizer World Group, her Family Office, Portfolio Management Company, and venture/private capital platform managing 34 portfolio companies across Electronics, Advanced Manufacturing, Mobility, Clean Energy, eCommerce, Health-Tech, and Digital Platforms.
An accomplished technology executive with 25+ years of leadership experience, Dr. Schweizer has a distinguished track record in Manufacturing, Electronics, Digital Transformation, and Investment Management. With a robust technical foundation, she is recognized for steering strategically significant transformation initiatives that accelerate global growth and operational excellence. Her professional focus centers on scaling enterprises, fostering innovation, and guiding organizations through high-impact change.
Before assuming leadership of her family’s now 175-year-old business, Dr. Schweizer served as Sales Director at Dassault Falcon Service (Paris), a subsidiary of Dassault Aviation, and launched her career as an entrepreneur by founding WM Aero Charter, a German private aviation and logistics company.
Her governance experience spans 25+ years on boards with 15+ years on boards of publicly listed companies in Germany and Japan, including Meiko Electronics (Japan), a microelectronics PCB manufacturer with ¥95B consolidated sales and 10,000 employees. She has also held Director roles across Asia (China, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Singapore) and serves on multiple advisory and governance boards worldwide, including two in Singapore.
A five-time entrepreneur, Dr. Schweizer has co-founded and scaled three start-ups to successful exits. Her leadership accolades include being an EY Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist (Top 5 in mid-cap) and receiving BDO’s “Turnaround of the Year” award.
Deeply committed to education, talent development, and cross-border collaboration, she is a Mentor for Start2Group, German Accelerator, and Scaler8, supporting early-stage ventures entering Southeast Asian, Japanese, and European markets. She is also a Career Mentor (Women in Business) with the Singapore-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce and serves as an Innovation Advisor at IPI Singapore (Enterprise Singapore subsidiary), guiding SMEs in their innovation and growth journeys.
Dr. Schweizer holds several academic and institutional affiliations:

• Board Member, German European School Singapore (GESS) – Chair of the Risk and Audit Committee, overseeing a not-for-profit institution of ~1,900 students.
Her portfolio also includes chairing advisory boards of AIQURIS (a TÜV SÜD AI venture) and InnoWave Tech (AI), and serving since 2013 on the board of HDI Global SE (Talanx Group), a global corporate insurer with €10B annual revenues. She is additionally Partner at Starkpartners (Germany), advising family enterprises on corporate strategy, succession, and restructuring.
Dr. Schweizer holds a Master of Science from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and a Doctorate from the University of Innsbruck, alongside a European Airline Pilot Licence. Dr Roderick Wong

Rod’s passion for innovative science and its power to impact people’s lives led him to launch RTW in 2009. His rigorous approach to analyzing the latest science and narrowing in on the ideas with the best potential formed the foundation of what the firm is today.
Over the last 16 years, Rod has built a diverse team of scientists, entrepreneurs, dealmakers, and operators with the capabilities to find those promising scientific innovations and power their development into life-changing medicine. In addition to his leadership of the firm, Rod manages the firm’s investments focused on innovative drug development.
Prior to forming RTW, he was a Managing Director and sole Portfolio Manager for the Davidson Kempner Healthcare Funds. Before joining Davidson Kempner, Rod held various healthcare investment and research roles at Sigma Capital Partners and Cowen & Company.
Rod simultaneously received an MD from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School and an MBA from Harvard Business School, and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a BS in Economics from Duke University.
Rod has a keen interest in educating the next generation of life science entrepreneurs. He serves on the board of Penn Medicine and as Chairman of the RTW Foundation.
